This room is tucked away in the back of the house on the second floor with it's own stairway. It's cozy and quiet and when necessary, is paired with the Canopy room to make it a Suite. It has a comfortable double bed and charm galore!
The French Room
This large queen sized bed and spacious room claims to be the quietest room in the house. When the windows are open, you can hear the water trickling down the stream into the pond in back. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower for the tallest of men. The original rookwood tile and dental sink help you escape back in time.
This is the largest of the bedrooms boasting a beautiful cherry queen sized canopy bed. Two windows on either side of the room allow for a heavenly cross breeze when the weather permits. When necessary, a rollaway fits nicely in the room for extra sleeping accommodations. The private bath has a bathtub and shower. The back staircase from the kitchen leads to this room allowing you your own private entrance and corner of the house. Of course you can use the main staircase if you wish. This room is paired with the Hide-a-way room to make a suite when necessary. You also have your own TV and can access Netflix or one of the many movies already recorded!
This room is on the first floor and is named so because it looks out on the back garden. A lovely double inlaid bed will help you have a grand nights' sleep. Three windows in the room allow for cross ventilation and fresh air. The bathroom is across the hall (a bathrobe is provided) and has a shower and vanity. You are in your own corner of the house so it is unlikely you will "bump" into anyone. Just around the corner is the living room where you can relax or watch TV or sneak out onto the Portico.
This room is also on the first floor right off the kitchen. The only room with the bathroom in the room (private entrance, of course) you are nestled away where no one can find you. The double bed is comfy and you can step outside the door and onto the patio in just a few steps. You will probably smell the coffee in the morning.
